Shin Shin Training Center is a training institute that has been assisting the people of bay area with career enhancements for over 13 years! Recently, we have decided to expand our services to provide more to the society and SAT training is one of our primary expanding focuses. SAT Instructor

Job Description:

  • Our SAT instructors will be providing lectures of SAT lessons in all 3 sections: Critical Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. You can specialize in one specific subject or more. Preferably, you either have your own curriculum or will be able to structure one for our training sessions. Shin Shin focuses on individualizing our SAT courses, therefore instructors must pay close attention to each student in terms of their strength, weakness, improvement areas, studying patterns, and more. College prep is a new program to Shin Shin and therefore we hope to grow with our instructors.   • Creating a dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Must be a college graduate from top universities (Higher education strongly preferred)
  • Fun, energetic, and interactive
  • Strong desire to bring students to their successes
  • Prior SAT teaching experiences required
  • Currently have a teaching curriculum or can structure one for the session upon request


  • Lecture SAT training classes throughout the session.
  • Establish course syllabus prior to the session: topics, assignments, quizzes, exams, etc.
  • Provide progress reports of each student’s performance prior, during, and after the session.
  • Be enthusiastic about teaching, engaging with materials, and simply just have fun with the students!

Shin Shin provides many different sessions so hours within each session may vary. Our instructor positions are now part-time, but as our business grows, these positions have potential leading to permanent.


College Application Advisor

Job Descriptions:

  • Our College Application Advisors will need to perform multiple tasks: advising/editing college application essays, advising college applications, assisting in any other college application aspects such as financial aid/grant application, appeal letter editing, college searches, extra-curricular referring/recommendations, and more. Advisors will either be taking package or individual cases. College prep is a new program to Shin Shin and therefore we hope to grow with our counselors.   • Experienced in college application and/or essay advising
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in college application/essay advising/editing
  • Capable of working with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Creative writing, brain storming, establishing great structure of essay and willing to listen to individual students about their needs
  • B.A/B.S required from prestigious colleges
  • Certification in college counseling is a big plus

Responsibilities: Further details on formats of advising will be discussed later during interviews.


Oral Communication Tutor


  • Bachelor degree required
  • Friendly, energetic, passionate about teaching
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus
  • Must be extremely fluent in English (English native speaker preferred)
  • Teaching focuses will primarily be business English, conversational English, accent reduction, etc.
  • Must prepare for curriculum/syllabus
  • Will teach both individual and group sessions
